One year ago this week, we discovered that Baby #2 was a B-O-Y!  I told one person – Bethany Scottberg. In September that year, we saved a little message in the Florida sand as a keepsake. And also wrote his name… Sneaky, huh? *It shall be noted that neither Jim nor I nor Bethany participated in the baby guessing contest.

My brother is a lucky enough duck that he gets off for the summers because he’s a teacher. As the summer winds down, we headed over there for a day of fun with Charlie & Jack’s cousins! Filled with sunshine & good food, we had a great time as we always do!

We headed to the Oak Lawn Children’s Museum with Sarah of (SarahEmilyCathy) and let me just say, having an extra set of hands is GREAT! Especially on days where Charlie wants to run, explore, and get into healthy mischief! Thanks for joining us, Sarah! (We went on August 1st!)

I’ve been going to this parade since I was little! We always sit in front of my Aunt’s Beauty Shop and we’ve been bringing Charlie for the the past three years! This was Jack’s first Worth Days Parade (third parade this year!) We had a great time and Charlie collected candy like a champ with Moxie (our cousin).

My brother’s a teacher and he’s headed back to school soon (tough life, I know, being off at least three months of the year! haha!) We headed over there for some fun & chaos. Just a *few* snapshots…

As Jack grows and becomes more and more like his own little person, he and Charlie seem to connect more like brothers. Just a sweet moment caught…  Oops! Mommy was spotted!
