#5 – 10 a.m. Since we are in church at 10 a.m., I snapped this picture when we went shopping right after. I love all things Justin Bieber! (thanks, Bethany Scottberg!) These cupcakes are a must-have for your next party, right!? (It shall also be noted that these came up as photo #666 in my phone….YIKES!)
Photo Challenge, #4
#4 – a stranger This one includes a few strangers (and our nephew, Jonathan). He plays for this fun church league (Upward Basketball) and we got to catch one of his games for the first time Saturday! He did awesome!! We had a great time (as did the boys) and saw some people we didn’t know!
Photo Challenge, Day #3
Day #3 – Hands Obviously this isn’t a picture I snapped today. It isn’t a picture I ever took, but it strikes me near and dear, especially as of late. You can read the full account here. Perfection.
Photo Challenge, Day #2
Day 2 – Words Warm Pumpkin Blueberry Bread Recipe – doesn’t that sound delicious? And in the crockpot? Doesn’t that sound easy? Well, it was…..easily one of the worst crockpot recipes I’ve ever made. Perhaps the crockpot was too large or maybe the recipe was blah, but this did not turn out as I expected. It was too moist, BLAND… View Post

If I haven’t said it enough, I love Pinterest. I pin (mostly) every day and I’ve made a few different projects/recipes/crafts from there. I love the organization ideas & the helpful tips as well! Cardboard Kitchen
Having two little boys in the house usually means that we are filled with our share of cars, trucks, racetracks, trains, and blocks, but with the recent addition of a child-sized chair for Jack, we ended up with the perfect box for a homemade oven/stove for the boys to play with! I set to work creating this quick play station to… View Post
My Miracle, Revisited
It’s not every day that you witness a miracle, but I’m lucky enough to live with my biggest one every day. After years of praying and two miscarriages, my Miracle had finally arrived. His arrival was eventful, but he was stunning. And three years later, he is still miraculous. Happy 3rd Birthday to my Charlie Bear! May you always know how truly loved… View Post

Serenity Now.
A few years back, we went on vacation with dear friends (E & B). Erik’s favorite saying throughout the trip was “Serenity Now!!!” And sometimes, just sometimes, he got it. In a life with two little boys, I often say this to myself throughout the day. And occasionally, you catch a moment like this: Serenity.
