A longer post is on its way to document this tumultuous past week, but for now, a few pictures of Mr. Sick.
First Ice Cream
The first official ice cream of this year was enjoyed in winter a visit to the park. Charlie’s choice was chocolate with chocolate sauce, gummy bears, and m&ms. Because of this unseasonably warm weather, we took advantage of this icy treat. (And did you see, he’s wearing SHORTS! in MARCH!) Yum…

Diaper Motorcycle
A few months back, I found a similar project to this on Pinterest. The pin that I found required floral wire and I was just not interested in something that complicated, so I created this diaper motorcycle! I made on for my friend, Melissa, and then this one, for a co-worker of Jim’s. Here are some basic instructions: What You… View Post
Redeemed.
“I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.” Psalm 40: 1-2 Happy Sunday! Guest posting at Art by Jacy
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Due to sickness on the little guy’s part, I didn’t get to do most of the crafts I wanted to do with the boys. Instead, I settled for this one with a few variations. Here’s my finished product: I’m missing the green grapes/kiwi options because I ran out of time to head to the store and I would have used a… View Post
Greening of the Waterfall
This past Friday (day before St. Pat’s!), we headed out to Lake Katherine to see the Greening of the Waterfall and enjoy the beautiful grounds! With a wood chip trail, beautiful lake, & indoor nature center with live animals, this is always a favorite when the weather gets nicer (and 80 degrees in March is NICE!) Cousin Jasie and Aunt Jessica… View Post

Letters
Dear Parents, Let me give you some advice about your children/future children and their future. Encourage them in school, help them pursue their dreams, and guide them in the right direction. But please also understand that not every child (even if they are your own) is not created to be a college student. Some students just are not meant to go… View Post
Pee Wee Sports:: Hockey
Charlie did very well with hockey this week! He and the other kids all kept their kids close to the ground, no one was injured and apart from the echoing, “I’m tireds!” after one kid started, the day was a success. He is one of the younger ones out there, so the coordination might not happen right away, but I’m… View Post
The Perfect Day
If I could stuff the perfect day into a two hour span of time, it would be how spent the two hours after daddy came home from work yesterday. With a cranky, not quite himself baby, dinner didn’t get made. Daddy swooped in at 6:02 p.m. and by 6:10 p.m, we were out the door, diaper bag, baseball mitt, and… View Post
