Easter Sunday is always a chance to get the family dressed up nicely and take some pictures. This year, we did the same thing! The boys were wearing jackets because the air was crisp, but I think they look great! No, I didn’t purposely coordinate our nephews with Jim! Charlie demanded to be in this picture! Love this one! KidsWork:: Frankfort
This past weekend, we had the chance to visit KidsWork Children’s Museum in Frankfort. Malachi was turning five so we headed out there for a birthday party (party post to be featured soon!) The boys really enjoyed themselves (and I think Jim did too!) Overall, the two-story museum was fun and had quite a bit for the boys to do! Play… View Post
Easter Morning
Before church, the boys had a blast hunting eggs & finding their baskets. Jack rearranged the eggs when he got up at 4 a.m. and later enjoyed biting the candy through metal wrapper and all to savor the chocolate-y goodness inside! I’ll be posting a video later this week of Charlie’s reaction to his basket, but for now, some pictures… View Post
Easter Egg Dyeing
In keeping with our tradition, we headed to Momma & Poppy’s to dye Easter eggs. Clad in the biggest over-sized t-shirts you’ve ever seen, the boys prepared for an egg decorating bonanza! Jack was…uncooperative (shocking) and lasted 3 minutes. Charlie on the other hand had a blast and kept wanting to plop the eggs in the dye! Daddy preparing the… View Post
Egg Hunts 2012 – Dominick’s
Despite our negative experience last year, we remembered our first two experiences well (2009 & 2010), we decided to give Dominick’s one more chance to try out their Easter Egg Hunt. This year, they did not disappoint. They were organized, had great food, plenty of prizes, tons of eggs, and the best part? Hardly any people! The boys ended up… View Post

Toddler Eats
One of the biggest transition times for our little ones comes when they start to experience adult food! I’ve had several moms inquire over the past few days about what they could possibly feed their young toddlers (approximately nine months through eighteen months). Based on my experience and the advice of other moms, I’ve compiled this list. These ideas can… View Post
Planning for Easter
In preparation for Easter, I’d love to share a bit of what we’re planning with all of you! Baskets Before we had kids, we agreed that we wanted to teach our children the value of giving and didn’t want to focus on stuff. We try to keep what we give them at Christmas minimal, but meaningful, and I would love… View Post
