It’s no secret that our family is a little…eccentric. We LOVE LOVE getting creative with our holiday cards and it is typically one of the highlights of my holiday season – taking pictures and then selecting the PERFECT card.
As you can see, we need a card that will do us justice. Last year, we did a tri-fold Zoolander inspired card from Tiny Prints. I LOVE LOVE LOVE tri-fold cards because you get the most photographs for your buck AND my favorite part? Your recipients can clip elements of the card and keep as a photograph – perfect for framing or putting on their refrigerator (you want one too, I assume!)
So this year’s theme I am SUPER excited about (no peeking yet, our cards go out this weekend!), but I’ll have another post when those pretties go live. And I really have Tiny Prints to thank because they always know JUST what I’m looking for and the service is ridiculously fast. Like if you “ahem” haven’t ordered your holiday cards yet (Code: DEALFORDEC for 40% off RIGHT NOW!)
I’m a huge fan of holiday cards and believe it’s an opportunity for us to connect with family and friends that we might not otherwise hear from throughout the year. It’s a great way to show that sentiment, connect with people, and provide a snippet into your live (even if you do rock a mean garbage bag). I spend time crafting, designing, thinking about our overall theme, and usually spend an obscene amount of time worrying about the reaction this little greeting might have on those who receive one (seriously, ridiculously excited for our cards to go out this weekend).
Think we know how to have fun? Our cards really do say it all.
There is a card for every occasion and for every style and I LOVE that they do amazing job of bringing our own family photographs to life. Each time, I am more and more impressed with the quality that Tiny Prints provides and why stop there? With a variety of options for gifts, you have plenty to choose from. Mugs, anyone? I love the idea that I can give a gift and also offer that personalization that shows it’s from us and we love YOU!
What are your favorite holiday traditions for connecting and reaching people? Do you send holiday cards throughout the year?
