I was asked to be part of the Netflix #StreamTeam and share posts each month based on my experience. We are longtime Netflix users and love sharing our experiences with you! All opinions are of course are own!
What if I told you that you could catch the newest Disney releases on Netflix and have the perfect family night in with your crew?
After a few bouts of travel this month, Jim arrives home TODAY and the boys could not be more excited – which means it is the perfect opportunity for our family to reconnect and enjoy a little family date time.
Oftentimes, the week is a hustle and bustle of activity – with plenty to do and places to go that rewinding at the end of the week with some relaxation is ALWAYS in order. Lucky for us, one of the biggest partnerships has come to fruition THIS MONTH – Disney + Netflix. The pairing goes together like Peanut Butter & Jelly, Luke & Lorelai, Kimmy & Titus, Dory & Nemo (hint, hint) Me & Zac Efron. You get me – this is HUUUUUUUUUUUGE.
Not to mention, have I told you how much our family ABSOLUTELY LOVES AND IS OBSESSED WITH DISNEY?! So this is perfection for us.
The Disney repertoire is expanding and THE newest theatrical releases from 2015-2016 will be making their way to the big screen starting this month with Zootopia (arrived THIS WEEK) which makes it perfect timing for our family night festivities.
While you wait for all the newest releases to hit your home stream screen, check out a few of our other Disney faves to tide you over and provide the perfect fodder for your time to reconnect and snuggle on a Friday night family date!
Robin Hood {stop hissing in my EAR!}
High School Musical {Homecoming weekend + Zac Efron? YAS}
Short Films Collection {This is a MUST SEE}
Disneynature: Wings of Life {Charlie’s FAVE}
The possibilities are endless, but I won’t lie – I’m most excited that the newest finds will be there soon enough for us to enjoy at our fingertips!
{HINT, HINT}

I wish there were a ton of Disney movies on Netflix. Honestly, it’s why I resubscribed after several years and I feel a little cheated that there are only a few Disney movies. My plan was to show my kiddos all the Disney classics that I loved this spring because we were gifted tickets and got some more from our homeschool charter so we finally got to go to Disney after 10 years.
My favorites are Mulan, the Little Mermaid, Frozen, A Bug’s Life, Pocahontas, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty… almost all of them really.lol. I’d also love to see the new Pete’s Dragon.
