It’s Monday morning and I think this calls for a little motivation. Oftentimes, we are our own worst enemies, but encouraging one another in our journey can be crucial to our own success.
In an effort to spread the positivity and help you see things as sunny side up this morning, I thought I’d share a few things that I know that will hopefully help you build your confidence a bit.
1. You have PURPOSE.
You were destined to do all the things with your time on earth. You have a specific purpose for your life and learning to live each day intentionally with goals and dreams in mind will help you to fulfill that purpose. The world needs you.
2. You are HOT.
For real. You’re ridiculously good-looking – just as you are, in this moment, in the past, and in the future. Wake up every morning, look in the mirror, and say, “I am hot!” You can use whatever adjective you feel comfortable with, but it must be something nice and you must repeat it often. You are your biggest fan and confidence starts with YOU!
3. You are uniquely YOU.
You are not the person to your right, you are not your co-worker, your are not the other mom at the playground. You are uniquely you and imperfectly perfect just the way you are.
4. You are LOVED.
I feel like I could spend a whole book writing all the ways that you are loved. You are LOVED. I promise. Even on the days when you don’t feel like it. Even if someone flat out tells you the opposite, remember, you are loved. If for whatever reason, you don’t feel loved. Reach out to me. And I’ll do my darndest to make sure that you know it. I’ll write you a message of love every day if I have to in an effort to make you believe it. (And I mean it – reach out, ask, and I’ll help you on this).
5. You are enough.
You have inherent value. You are worthy of love. You deserve nothing but the best. And you are enough. For this world, but most of all, for yourself.
You are already all the things you need to be – you just have to remind yourself that you are those things. Say it daily, repeat them often, and work to build the confidence that the world will not simply hand you.
Share this with someone who needs to hear it – starting with yourself.
