We received a complimentary package to stay at Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel. All opinions expressed are our own.
You might remember the deal I shared last week about Spooktacular Suites at Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont. A night of fright (and hopefully good sleep) awaited us! We started the night by enjoying dinner at Fogo de Chao in Rosemont (a great area for enjoying delicious eats – plenty of great options to choose from which is why I love this particular area. We didn’t get a chance to walk the Fashion Outlets – one of my favorite things to do when I’m out there.
After dinner, we walked over to Disturbia: Screams in the Park and let’s just say, what happens in Disturbia stays in Disturbia. If you’ve ever seen Ellen Degeneres’ show where they videotape someone being scared and walking through? That’s me. With more screams and terror. YIKES!
Located in the basement of the parking garage, proceed with caution. And with someone’s hand to hold.
Basically how I felt the entire way…
After we went to Disturbia, we headed back to our hotel.
The lobby is one of my favorite elements – beautiful and modern with elegant touches like orchids, I LOVE how it feels and the hustle and bustle of being so close to the city without being in the thick of it.
This is the perfect space for catching the news and catching up on some work…just saying.
Once upstairs, I was met with some sweet eats thanks to our package and a few extras for my birthday! (Thanks, Stephanie!) This personalized touch definitely made me smile, not to mention the Whiskey ghosts and chocolate covered strawberries (my favorite!)
The suite has a living area space and a bedroom, separated by these doors. I could totally see coming as a family and having the separate rooms being so helpful with earlier bedtimes. Also perfect for one early riser and one night owl!
This bed though. Do I need to say more? King sized and comfy – that’s just about everything for me.
The modern bathroom had a huge tub and stand-up shower and also had the touches you need for your stay (soaps, lotions, amenities and more). THIS IS MY SANCTUARY. And if I could pick it up and put it in my own home, I would. A bathroom renovation in November has me feeling inspired by this space.
Believe me, I took full advantage of our sans kids getaway. Relaxation time? Check, please. Now to find a pedicure…
One of my FAVORITE features (apart from everything else) is definitely the view. A beautiful breath-taking view of the fall colors foliage and as the sun was rising, the perfect silhouette of one of my favorite cities ever. The skyline is just beautiful and our room with a view really showed it off!
Our stay at Loew’s Chicago O’Hare Hotel was the perfect mixture of comfort and personalization and put us within reach of shopping, theatre performances, and delicious food. It’s a great weekend getaway, convenient for airport goers, and a destination all its own. I can’t wait for our next visit!
