Two little misters off to school means we are well into the swing of things. From school drop-offs to life on-the-go, we spend quite a bit of time enjoying life in fast forward mode. And with Charlie in first grade, classroom parties and room mom duties are in their full swing! I oftentimes try to come up with unique ideas that not only satisfy little tummies, but also incorporate some sort of hands-on element – plus, who doesn’t love to get a lot little messy?
Making things fun (and simple!) are the name of my game and I recently made these sweet treat for the boys before I headed out of town. Inspired by an ice cream banana split, I set out the fixings for the boys to build their own “Traveling Banana Split Snack Cup” – perfect for enjoying on-the-go, in your backyard with friends, or for a family movie night.
Putting together these Traveling Banana Split Snack Cups is simple and can also be duplicated as a classroom or playdate sweet! Even better, let the kids build their own ideas of delicious Go-Paks! Fun!
You will need:
NABISCO Go-Paks! in your favorite variety (choices include: TEDDY GRAHAMS Honey Graham Snacks, RITZ Bits Cheese Cracker Sandwiches, Mini NILLA Wafers, Mini OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies, NUTTER BUTTER Bites Sandwich Cookies, Mini OREO Golden Sandwich Cookies)
Snack Pack® Pudding Cups (Chocolate Fudge, Vanilla, Chocolate/Vanilla Mix, Butterscotch)
Bananas, sliced
Chocolate Syrup
Chopped peanuts
Ready to build your Snack Pack® Cup sundae? Get Reddi!
First, open your Go-Pak (flavor of your choice). I LOVED Nutter Butter bites for this because they remind me of an ice cream cone with their fun pattern. Spoon in one Snack Pack® Pudding Cup in your favorite flavor (I chose chocolate fudge). Top with slice bananas and drizzle your chocolate syrup. Swirl around delicious Reddi-Wip original and top with nuts and a cherry!
Voila! Ready to eat this sweet treat!
The kids will have a blast whipping up their sundae in a cup. Set up a Snack Cup Sundae bar for a future party or back-to-school after school celebration!
If you’d like to add a little spin to your Go-Paks!, considering decorating the outside for an extra personalized touch. Here are two different ways to make the most out of these little plastic cups that don’t leak and keep your favorite snack contained!
The first special decoration is Mummified Snack Cups! Perfect for the upcoming Halloween and Autumn season, these Go-Paks! can easily be transformed into something extra spooky! Gather some white duct tape and googly eyes in your favorite size.
First, glue on the googly eyes. Then, tear off strips of duct tape and slowly wrap around the cup and eyes like a mummy. Once finished, then you’re ready to scare things up at the next Halloween party or to surprise trick or treaters!
If you want to keep things a little simpler, add a piece of duct tape and write a little sweet note for a lunchtime surprise! My first grader LOVES getting notes in his backpack, so this is the perfect way for me to say how much I love him with something as simple as a piece of tape! These cups our durable so if you reuse them, simply remove the tape, and add another!
Ready to get snacking on the go? Head to Walmart to get everything you need to make your snacks better than ever! Bonus: Go-Paks! are just $1.00 so they are great for buying in bulk and serving up for a crowd!
How would you add a little oomph to your favorite snack cup?

What a great road trip snack idea! These NABISCO Go-PAKs would be the perfect “cup” to put the McD’s soft serve swirls in especially when the ice cream cone starts getting messy in the car.
