It’s no secret that our family loves all things light sabers! Star Wars is a nostalgic piece of our own childhood and now one that seems to be coming back in droves for our kids. So when we had the opportunity to check out the newest Star Wars cereal, we were totally on board. Pitting boxes of Yoda + Darth Vader on the shelves had us imagining whether or not we were headed to the dark side. You might even consider hosting a Star Wars Breakfast Party where guests dress up as their favorite character in anticipation of the movie.
Similar to its existing Lucky Charms cereal, the new Star Wars cereal will feature marshmallow bits in six themed shapes, including a Storm Trooper, Yoda and a pair of light sabers. (Courtesy of General Mills)
The new Star Wars cereal has the perfect marshmallows to go along with it, including stormtroopers and mini light sabers. The cereal itself is just as delicious and we prefer ours plain without any milk. Which is your favorite?
This is Jack’s go-to breakfast when he gets to choose. He also loves eating it for a snack. Notice how the marshmallows are usually gone first!
Charlie’s much more concerned with how the marshmallows work and he loves playing with his food before he eats it. Good thing this cereal is made to do just that! The marshmallows play a mean balancing game.

Star Wars Cereal can be found at all major grocery stores and retailers across the country beginning June 1st. Between June 2015 and June 2016, fans will be able to collect 6 limited edition boxes featuring different characters. The boxes will come out in pairs and each will feature a “light side” and “dark side” character.
The first two package designs for Star Wars Cereal that will be released in June feature Yoda (light side character) and Darth Vader (dark side character). On the back of the package there is more fun! Kids can play the board game on the back of the Darth Vader package or take the Star Wars quiz on the back of the Yoda package to test their knowledge.
