Fifteen years ago, I started dating the man who would eventually be the father of my children. It’s difficult to imagine how a high school boy might evolve into a dad in later years, but somehow, I knew he was a good one. Today, he’s the captain of our ship and the anchor that keeps us grounded and supported. To honor him as the captain of our adventures, we thought we would take a trip down memory lane and share a little Nautica Voyage with him as a token of our appreciation.
Ready to see what we love about him?
Stunning good looks and a grilling ability to boot? He makes a mean steak and looks good while doing it.
He became a daddy in 2009 when Charlie was born and was my rock! He helped me breathe through what seemed like six years of labor and remained calm the entire time, even when I seemed off my rocker.
He’s not afraid to get really silly when it comes to his family. Act like an elephant at our local zoo? Check.
Then along came, Jackie Dean and this daddy of two took it in stride. His mini-me was born – same cute face, same mischievous personality.
He works hard every day for our family and has even brought the boys for bring your kids to work day – no small feat with two little misters!
Did I mention he also knows how to defeat the bad guys? (And I almost got a higher score than him, just sayin’!) He’s our modern day superhero.
He even raced to get a coveted spot in line to meet Anna & Elsa at Walt Disney World. During his adventure, he discovered that mommy had misunderstood Magic Hours and so he had the park all to himself, even managing a castle selfie while he waited. The lengths he is willing to go for his boys is inspiring. Much like Nautica Voyage, his love and adventurous spirit knows no boundaries.
As you can see, we hit the jackpot in the daddy department. With just six years of fatherhood under his belt, I am excited to see where our Captain takes us in the future and how he continues to be the Anchor that gives us stability. For Father’s Day, we wanted to honor him, so we paired the Nautica Voyage gift set with a simple DIY Anchor Canvas (free-hand drawn anchor using white acrylic paint, a brush and small burlap canvas).
If painting isn’t your thing, use one of our printables to pair with your favorite Nautica scent.
