Then you’re ready to tackle the Dirty Girl Mud Run coming to Chicago on June 27th! The Dirty Girl Mud Run is a 3.1 mile(ish) obstacle course run for women, and women ONLY! If you’re an uber cross fitter looking to make your weekend more challenging, Dirty Girl Mud Run has a place for you. If this is your first time running an organized obstacle run or 5k, YOU WILL GET TO THE FINISH LINE! Over 900,000 women of all ages, shapes, sizes, and athletic backgrounds have completed this incredibly fun obstacle course since it’s debut in 2011.
The run features four new obstacles promising a time that’s even muddier than before – Slidin’ Dirty, Utopian Tubes, Runaway Bride and H20MG. You’ll have a blast getting muddy and spending valuable time with your friends as you head out for the funnest run you’ve ever done!
But it’s not all for the fun of it – Dirty Girl Mud Run’s beneficiary for the second year is Bright Pink, a non-profit that provides support, awareness and education for young women diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancer. Bright Pink provides multiple workshops, educational seminars and customized support for women who are experiencing breast and ovarian cancer directly or indirectly. DGMR has donated $50,000 to Bright Pink and participants have an option to donate $5 to Bright Pink when they purchase their ticket.
