After posting about his efforts just three weeks ago, Charlie set out to raise money so that kids could get healthy and shave his head for Donna’s Good Things later in the month of March! St. Baldrick’s is an annual effort to raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research where participants raise money and shave their heads in solidarity. Charlie set a goal just three weeks ago to raise $30 and Jim and I admittedly weren’t sure how his fundraising would go since he started so late.
And boy, were we ever so glad to be wrong.
In the weeks leading up to the big day, we grew Charlie’s hair out, requested donations online and in-person, he worked at the beauty shop and people’s houses all to raise money for kids. He has impressed me to the nth degree and we are SO incredibly proud of him! Since the event, he has still raised money and including donations, he is now at…
$2,605!!!!!
If you’d like to toss a dollar his way, I’m sure he wouldn’t say no. Check out his donation link here!
Now without further ado…
The Day Before
In process…he wanted a reverse mohawk and then an old man ‘do.
Lookin’ cool!
We hope your week is magical and delightful! So blessed by our kids each and every day!
