Day 1 || Blink. || Day 2, Part 1 || Day 2, Part 2 || Pin-Trading
Our next adventure brought us to Epcot Theme Park! Home of the HUGE Golf Ball, Spaceship Earth. This is something I distinctly remember from my visit back when I was around five years old and visited with my family.
Our first stop of the day was STARBUCKS! Magic Kingdom’s Starbucks was JAMMED, so we were happy to finally make it there!
Then, we headed over to The Seas with Nemo & Friends. The boys ESPECIALLY loved the “Mine, Mine, Mine!” Seagulls and arguably could have stayed there for hours! The artistry and fish outside were beautiful, but the ride was just as fun. Climb into clam shells for a ride through Finding Nemo and end discovering a HUGE massive aquarium, including a variety of rooms and Bruce’s special shark lair.
We took a boat tour through Living with the Land – nice and relaxing! Next, we made our way to the World Showcase and noticed the beautiful landscaping and efforts paid to gardens, plants and flowers. I would LOVE to make it to the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival one day!
(Aren’t those designs beautiful? All made out of plants!)
Not to mention the character sculpture bushes
We went through the World Showcase and met a few characters along the way (full post coming on that in the coming weeks!). We met Jasmine, Aladdin, Duffy Bear (oh boy!), Mickey & Goofy (Thanks, Disney Chase Visa!), Mulan and Belle!
We spent some valuable time testing out a variety of video games and Jack LOVED building his piggy bank up at the Great Piggy Bank Adventure! We went through this multiple times as we tried to save up money for vacation and a new bed!
Throughout the day, we enjoyed the sights, sounds and we LOVED walking through the World Showcase – following a variety of countries. I could have spent hours here just taking it all in. We ended our day at the San Angel Inn Restaurante in Mexico at the World Showcase. Located after a quaint little Mexican street, this hidden gem of a restaurant is a modeled after a hacienda located at the base of Mayan ruins. We enjoyed DELICIOUS food here, including dessert and the ambiance was fantastic.
While here, we spent much of our time taking in the sights and discovering secret pin boards throughout the park. We had fast passes, but we didn’t use them because our boys are a bit more timid – we look forward to trying some of these out as they get older and a bit more brave!
