My Boys on the Shuttle Bus
A few sun-kissed kisses
Our dinner at Rainforest Cafe was DELICIOUS! I’ve not been impressed with food from this chain before, but we were BLOWN AWAY. Jim snagged shrimp, ribs & steak, I did a three shrimp trio and the boys opted for dinosaur nuggets and macaroni & cheese. If you’re heading to Disney, this counts as a Table Service and you can choose ANYTHING on the menu. In addition to regular soft drinks, you are also welcome to choose a Freeze or Smoothie instead, including in your dining plan. We highly recommend this hot spot and with a large volcanic presence, it’s hard to miss! This would definitely make our list again.
We also were able to pool our desserts together and receive one large delicious brownie volcano that we shared. It was the perfect size to split and the boys were pleasantly surprised!
Not to mention the inside views, we sat RIGHT next to the fish tank, but there was plenty to see and connect with!
We then headed over to one of the biggest Disney Stores EVER, World of Disney.
I put this on my Christmas wish list.
Beautiful scenery and PLENTY of cast members to trade pins with.
Don’t forget to check out the MASSIVE Stitch statue outside, but beware, he sometimes spits!
Another MUST STOP is the LEGO store. Plenty of space for kids to play and lots of toy models and statutes to check out, including a HUGE Maleficent dragon, the boys were mesmerized!
This LEGO Serpent Dragon was in the water and was HUGE! This picture doesn’t even do it justice (and you can see Rainforest Cafe in the background!)
A quick stop with a few LEGO pals…
Last stop? Goofy’s Candy Co. for a sweet treat! Jack wanted me to take a picture of this because he was SO impressed that Goofy was made out of JELLY BEANS! Luckily, we escaped without trying one out…
Overall, Downtown Disney was beautiful. Shops on the water, lots to see and plenty of places to find the perfect souvenir or something for yourself, we would definitely spend another night hanging out there if we visited again! There’s even a Starbucks so you can fuel up while your kids run you around!
