In the Summer of 2013, we traveled to Florida and visited Walt Disney World for the first time as a family of four. I hadn’t been there since I was FIVE and Jim and the boys had never set foot there. We were SO excited! The boys were enamored with princesses, pin trading and all things Disney. They were absolute ANGELS as we traveled the park from the morning til the late evening hours. It was truly magical and we’ve been itching to go back ever since! After our work trips and my adventure to Africa in 2014, we put things off and the day after Christmas, we talked with a travel agent and within the day had booked our adventure to Disney at the end of February! We are SO EXCITED! (And purposely picked a winter month so we can ESCAPE these 87 inches of white stuff and freezing cold!)
We’ve begun our preparation and throughout the next month – I’ll share some of what we’re doing and a bit about our trip, then March will be ALL ABOUT DISNEY! (Sorry, but we’re kind of in love!)
We traded pins with friends and SensiblySara sent us some of these so we can get some new ones at the parks!
Our trip packet and preview video arrived! Looking forward to an INCREDIBLE vacation!
MagicBands time! And yes, the boys picked pink – it’s their favorite color of the moment!
One of my favorite ideas was when I snagged two Disney advent calendars on Christmas clearance. For right around 74 cents, we are enjoying a 24 day countdown to Disney and the boys LOVE the special treat of chocolate. So far, we’ve discovered Ariel, Aurora, and Cinderella (with some duplicates). We can hardly wait!
Any other ideas you have for getting excited about Disney World or preparing for our big trip is great appreciated! Looking forward to an awesome time!
