I don’t often share much about Daddy over here at The Peanuts Gang, but wanted to take a few moments to share a bit about this hunk since he’s been just so awesome lately. After ten years of marriage, he’s honestly more committed than ever and I can only share just how blessed I am. I could not do half of what I do without him and he pushes me to constantly improve myself and better our family.
He makes Snowmen with our boys and helps them to remember when they were babies (like when Jack used to call them, “Tummen!” instead of Snowmen).
He wrestles and helps them burn off excess energy.
Sometimes, he’s like having a third son around, but I wouldn’t miss seeing him share that with them.
He snuggles with the best of them and there’s not much that warms my heart than seeing the three of them curled up on the couch together after a long day of playing and housework.
He cleans toilets & mops & sweeps & does laundry. He’s like Mr. Clean only with more hair.
He practices math problems and challenges the boys to increase their wit and knowledge.
He reads bedtime stories to them every night, even when it might be a “smidge too late.”
He carries them always.
He scratches their backs as they nod off to sleep.
He plays Disney Infinity with them.
He shares YouTube with them and videos of Venus Fly Traps eating their prey.
He washes my car by hand.
He wakes early and works hard for his money.
He shops at Ross and loves to buy the boys little surprises like gummy worms and Superhero posters.
He’s the best man I could have ever imagined having kids with.
Plus, he’s pretty hawt. Amiright?
