You may recall that a few weeks ago, the boys and I had the opportunity to visit The Gardner School in Naperville to check out what they have to offer kids and families in the way of early childhood care and education. The boys had an absolute blast playing while we learned about the school and the boys continued to talk about it long after we visited!
When ChicagonistaLIVE! was headed to The Gardner School in Oak Brook for another visit, they invited us along to check out this brand new (yet to be opened) location. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was almost an identical set-up with minor decor changes, but the same education quality and focus on children and families. The rooms were bright, large, and playful. The staff was friendly and engaging. As more locations begin to pop up, I know more families will be ready to take advantage of this great gem.

We also had the opportunity to make an appearance on the show and you can see the full episode here along with Charlie’s eager snack answer and Jack’s hairstyling techniques as he covered my face with my own hair. It was an adventurous afternoon, but one that the boys and I thoroughly enjoyed.
Overall, my favorite part about The Gardner School system is that they focus intently on the child and making the experience fun, but also enjoyable. Children receive a well-rounded education while also being allowed to be kids and as a mom who realizes all too quickly how fast they grow up, this is very important to me. What are some of the things you look for when choosing an early education for your children?
