Stylin’ & Profilin’ {JORD Watch Review & Giveaway}

My hubby received a watch to review and it changed his whole life just about. All opinions expressed are his own. 

If you like keeping it classy, a watch is the perfect piece. Subtlety is key (unless you’re into the whole Flavor-Flav thing), and different styles can be used for differing effects. Heck, you might even be able to swing a pocket watch if done properly. One typically would not expect much out of the ordinary with the classic wristwatch, but I was truly surprised and intrigued by Jord’s all-natural, wooden watches.

I had the pleasure of wearing Jord’s Fieldcrest model over the last week or so. While appearing to be their most basic offering, this handcrafted item caught people’s attention just about everywhere I went with it. It even had to be passed around the room prior to a government meeting so everyone in attendance could have a look. Beyond being made of show-stopping quality wood, this watch is surprisingly lightweight. And besides scoring points for being unconventional, there’s nothing that speaks to a man quite like a finely hand-crafted wooden showpiece.

Ron Swanson would be proud of this watch.

I very rarely review a product without at least some negatives just to keep it honest, but I really can’t find any. The price is a bit higher than your garden variety watch because of the whole hand-made quality thing, but that has to be expected. Jord also has different models to suit various preferences and budgets. You now have no excuses for trying to find the perfect Father’s Day gift.
