Four months ago, I began making some healthy changes, including running on the treadmill consistently each week. With spring, summer, and warmer weather around the corner, continuing my journey on the healthy train is as important on ever! Running around to baseball practice, trips to the park, and long jaunts at the zoo means I have to make sure I keep myself energized and kept as healthy as possible. I also know that my digestive system balance needs to keep up with my busy lifestyle and a natural probiotic is just the answer.
Found in the digestive section of your local Walmart’s health area, Insync Probiotics help keep my system regulated with doctor recommended B. Infantis and its gradual release. After using it for over a week, I can already see a difference! #NaturalProbiotic #cbias #shop
Sometimes, two busy active boys, it can be difficult to keep up with all the areas of my health; so in addition to taking a natural probiotic, I’ve compiled some health tips and tricks to keep your life balanced!
1. Add spinach to everything!
It’s likely that you’re not getting enough greens in your diet. Spinach works great in omelettes, smoothies, protein shakes and an extra oomph in your salads. At the end of the day, you don’t have to worry about shoving in that extra serving of vegetables since you accounted for it in your earlier meals!
2. Have a quick healthy lunch you can take on the go!
One of my favorite go-to recipes is a raw veggie wrap. Keep slice veggies available in the fridge for snacking. At lunch time, grab a whole wheat tortilla, then mix 1 tbsp. of light cream cheese with dill mix and spread over the tortilla. Add your favorite raw vegetables and then wrap and go. This filling lunch will keep you healthy while also keeping up with your busy schedule.
3. Get ACTIVE!
Make exercise a priority and get it done early! If you workout in the morning, then any park or zoo time becomes a great bonus. I’ve put together a quick circuit to run on the treadmill while your kids catch a morning show or play toys. When you get to the plank and wall sit, be sure to really push yourself and extended the time by a few seconds each round. You’ll begin to see changes just by doing these 30 minutes and finding time to exercise a little bit each day.
4. Keep workout gear ready the night before.
One of the most common excuses for not finding time to workout is because you don’t feel like you have enough time in the day to do it. Keeping workout gear clean, folded and ready to go means as soon as you wake up, you have everything you need to get going! It takes a little extra effort the night before, but knowing I don’t have to spend an hour in the morning searching for a towel, headphones, and all the right clothes means I’m more likely to actually get moving.
