As an adjunct professor and a background in the legal field, I’m a known arguer. I love the thrill of finding out more about political topics and talking with people about ideas, concepts, and making progress. Sean Astin – actor from Goonies, Lord of the Rings, Rudy – is beginning Season 2 of his political radio show for “the occasionally interested people” onMay 1st on a new network, TradioV. The broadcast is on Thursdays from 12-2 PT and airs on TradioV.com. His interest in politics and representing the people’s voice is infectious, and he genuinely wants people to understand what is happening with the government, even when it seems too complicated. Whether you are or aren’t interested in politics, he offers an intellectual discussion and doesn’t just want to be heard, he wants to hear the people and their concerns, all while keeping it civil.
Regardless of your passion, politics affects each and every one of us. After a recent discussion with a friend, the more you know, the better off you are! Becoming knowledgeable and learning about these topics in a fun and interesting way can improve your base understanding of a topic while also sharpening why you actually believe the things you do.
