Run, Forrest, Run!
The theme of the week is doing it even when you don’t feel like it. My rest day for one of the first times in 8 weeks was TORTURE! Are you sitting down?
I actually missed my daily run {gasp!}
Adding in some strength-training, planks, etc. and keeping up with Zumba, we are still planning for our big CLIMB this weekend!
A few a-ha moments:
Ran my fastest 5k yet in 36 minutes and 15 seconds. Remember 8 weeks ago when I couldn’t run a whole mile without huffing and puffing and almost blowing the house down?
I tried out sprints for the first time and was able to run the last minute at an 8.5 min/mile pace
I’ll be hitting two full months this weekend and cannot WAIT to do a month recap for you. Things have been going well!
I survived the Super Bowl. I wanted to eat everything in sight and I survived. I’m 87% sure I can do anything now.
