It’s official! My “New Year” Resolutions from early December have officially made their way into January and I have completed my fourth full week. We’re going on a month of celebrating getting on that treadmill and I’m ridiculously delighted that I stuck with it this long. Here’s the recap:
Points of Note:
I exercised on New Year’s Eve AND New Year’s Day.
The sweaty selfie was my very last one of 2013. You’re welcome.
I took two days “off” this week. One – I shoveled three times the entire driveway myself and the other, I did some stairs and let my body rest.
I’m lagging on the water, but hoping to pick that up this week.
I’ve done this almost a month. I’ve run/walked over 20 hours and over 80 miles.
What’s your tips/tricks for staying motivated and sticking with the program?

Good job Sam! For me, I try to stick to a workout schedule and never allow myself to make up an excuse to get out of it. I try to lay out all of my clothes the night before and and have everything ready to make it easy to get to the gym. Also, I try not to stick to the same workout routine, because it gets boring and also your body gets used to it. Keep up the good work! 🙂
