One look into the eyes of a live shark and you will experience the heart pounding “awe and fascination” that sharks elicit. Sharks have captured our imaginations for thousands of years, stirring the fears and fascination of ocean goers and scientists alike. Their legacy has been as misunderstood as it has been “old and bloody”. Now more than ever, the importance of understanding this fascinating species is critical for its survival.
Kid’s Aquarium Contest
Kid’s Aquarium Contest is a captivating learning program designed to teach children about the environment, stimulate their minds, ignite their creativity and warm their hearts through the rewards of pet care. Children from the ages 5 to16 are encouraged to join the competition. Aquariums will be lined up spotlighting the children’s creations. Every contestant is rewarded in many ways – ribbons are given to all the children, each tank creation is theirs to keep and the pride of being an active citizen in community events will reward them for a lifetime. Lots of tropical bright fish. Loves goldfish – always have to check them out at Meijers when grocery shopping.

My son loves all fish but mostly the colorful ones – I like the finding nemo fish (clownfish?).
