I am receiving a complimentary pass for the Lakefront Fireworks Cruise thanks to Seadog! All opinions and thoughts expressed are my own.
When Jim and I were first married, we went on a cruise across Lake Michigan and it was beautiful! I can also remember heading up the Chicago River with my aunt enjoying the city view from the water. So when I had the opportunity to hit the lake once again later this summer with Seadog while in the city for BlogHer, I jumped at the chance!
Via Seadog
Docking at Navy Pier, Seadog has shows from April to October, weather permitting. If you haven’t seen the city, this would be the perfect way to enjoy a night out and see the skyline in a whole new light! There are four different cruises to fully experience Chicago from the water:
Lakefront Speedboat Tour :: Think quick & descriptive – a 30 minute cruise about Chicago’s famous skyline set to music
Extreme Thrill Ride :: You like to take risks? (Not me!) Ready to try something new? (Maybe you do!) You’ll experience it all in this 30 minute ride that has mega turns, slalom runs and more!
River & Lake Architectural Tour :: Informative and a perfect date-day length at 75 minutes – you cruise both Lake Michigan and the Chicago River taking in Chicago’s famous landmarks
Lakefront Fireworks Cruise :: Finally, my personal favorite (and the ride I’ll be taking in JULY!), you’ll be able to check out the city’s beautiful fireworks display while riding in a speedboat that brings together information and a beautiful fireworks display while playing top-40 hits. Panoramic views provide the perfect setting and this Cruise is available on Wednesdays and Saturdays running from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Seadog is great for both individuals and groups. They offer customized group events for up to 450 people. They also feature specific holiday cruises, such as Memorial Day, the 4th of July and Halloween. Even better, dogs ride for free, space permitting!
