Thanks to Coupon Chief for sponsoring this conversation about saving money!
As a mom of two growing boys, I’m always looking to save money – whether it’s on clothes or food, I’m learning to stretch my dollar farther. In the past few years, because of time constraints and the thought of dragging two kids to a crowded store, I have started to do some of my shopping online. This also means that when a store like Gymboree has a mega-sale, I can snag some clothes for next season after putting the boys to bed, even if the physical store has closed for the day.
One of the BEST ways to fully utilize online sales is to also pair that with a coupon or coupon code. Enter Coupon Chief. The fastest, growing coupon site at the moment adds new coupons & codes daily, even paying users to submit codes that are working. I decided to give their search a try and was pleasantly surprised.
The above is a screenshot of the homepage once you sign-up. Compared to other couponing sites, I’ve found that Coupon Chief is easy to read and doesn’t look cluttered. Everything is easy to find and the sections are pretty simple: Featured stores, Popular coupons, Popular Tags and a search bar. Each section has a specific purpose and you can also see the latest greatest deals if you also follow Coupon Chief on Twitter and Facebook. I love the fact that you can find things out on Facebook and Twitter because I am not always jumping over to the Coupon Chief homepage. The links to the coupons found there usually take you right to the store page and you can start shopping.
Recently, I decided to find a coupon to use at Gymboree.com. Using the site to find a coupon is very simple (which as a mom with a crazed life, I need!)
I ran a simple search in the toolbar for “Gymboree.” At the top of the list, there was a printable coupon – perfect for if I go into the store that day or later in the week. Next, coupons are arranged and can be viewed based on success rate. The first coupon comes via text and has a 54% rate. Each smaller section shows the user that shared the coupon, the success rate, an explanation of the coupon and when it expires. If it’s an online code, you can “show coupon code” and then be taken to the online store to shop. On this visit for me, I did the text coupon and saved 10%! Having a few options to try means that I’m likely to find something that works. If not, I can always re-visit the site in a few days to see if a new code has been added.
What ways do you try to save money? Do you utilize online coupon codes and printable coupons from the internet?
I’m all about saving money and Coupon Chief truly helps me do that. This post is sponsored, but my opinions expressed are my own.
