Yesterday, I had the amazing opportunity to see Pitbull live in concert at the Midwest Amphitheatre courtesy of tickets I won on Kiss FM. Ke$ha was there also, but that’s about as much of a mention as she deserves.
This is the best picture I have. Because apparently I cannot bring my “professional” dSLR camera there because its lens detaches.{sigh}
The finale celebration
The entire concert was dance party. He was amazing and all of his collaborative songs were done well with the corresponding music video in the background. He never changed his clothes – always looked classy in black. His dancers were phenomenal and I loved his band! It was truly a classy show that focused on the music and dancing. If it weren’t for Ke$ha, I could have easily brought my niece or nephew (ages 13 & 11).
On another note, people-watching was…interesting. Flannel shirts. Moms & Dads with mortified daughters. An 80-something year old woman with her sixty-something year old daughters. A woman who looked like she would fit in better at a Madonna concert in the 80s. People practically making babies with their dance moves. Lots of glitter, fish nets and daisy dukes. Four people that rushed the stage. From the very old to the pretty young, you just about saw it all there…including bras being worn as shirts {no.}
What’s your favorite Pitbull song or collaboration?
You’re welcome.
