I received membership to MyYoga Online. All opinions expressed are my own.
About five years ago, I tried yoga for the first time with my cousin. Realizing that my skill level was not where it should be, that I sweat more than everyone in the room combined and where my laughter about my lack of flexibility was probably disturbing to the other people, I never really thought that yoga was for me.
So when I had the chance to check out My Yoga online, I was a bit skeptical. Could I really do yoga? Would I really find there to be benefits from it? Let’s see!
Once you create a profile, you’ll have a specialized section with your profile picture, to look at your programs and keep a diary of how you’re feeling. On the home page, you’ll also see a section where you can invite friends so that they can try out My Yoga Online for two weeks and experience Yoga in the privacy of their own home.
One of my favorite Yoga programs for this month has been Yoga for Busy Moms. Starting Mother’s Day until May 31st, you can snag a practice guide and start your exercise routine. Now, I receive daily emails with the stretch & position of the day. I like being able to do it as I find time in the day and do it at my own skill level. I don’t have to worry about comparing myself to others, I just model myself off the instructor.
One of my other favorite features is the fact that you can choose a health program of yoga that best suits your needs. Here’s some of what they offer:
Yoga Detox: 8 Day Spring Cleanse
Get Lean, Get Healthy
Introduction to Power Vinyasa Yoga
Eliminating Anxiety
Back to Health with Plant-Based Nutrition
Energy Boost
Yoga for the Beginner (that’s me!)
De-Stress Express (don’t we all need this?)
Sleep Well, Be Well (definitely know some extended family members who could benefit from this)
The amount of time you spend on yoga a day is entirely up to you. From instructional pictures & videos to helpful tips and suggestions, My Yoga Online offers a breadth of knowledge to get you to be a Yoga expert in no time. My kids have even started to mimic my poses when I’m doing them in the morning.
What’s your favorite yoga pose? Have you ever taken a yoga class?
