Thanks to Walmart Labs for sponsoring today’s discussion about all things Pinteresting & searchable!
For Mother’s Day, I asked for a bicycle after falling in love with a beachcomber on vacation. At first, I tried the traditional “bicycle” search language online at Walmart, but found my choices were pretty basic and it returned a TON of options that I had neither the time or patience to search through.
I turned to Walmart’s Spark Studio for some help in finding something extra special.
With Spark Studio, you can browse and shop products by:
1) Inspirations- Items by Walmart shoppers on Pinterest
2) Fashion and Beauty- Discover must-haves from Walmart shoppers
3) For the home- Solutions and ideas from Walmart fans
4) Babies- Search the top picks from Pinterest moms
5) Pets- Find everything you will need for your pet
6) Playtime- A collection of items to entertain the whole family
Knowing that I LOVE bright colors, I started by trying to find a bicycle by the color yellow and immediately found the one I needed to have! With 41 pins, the pink & yellow Schwinn was mine! The site seemed to know just what I was looking for and the fact that it is connected to Pinterest makes it even better!
I also loved the fact that I could shop by brand which means planning for our Fall Disney trip is a breeze. From a Mickey wagon to Cars sneakers, Spark Studio helped me find some wonderful additions to our vacation planning. {My boys also encouraged me to keep.on.scrolling}.
The other great feature about Spark is the fact that you can search by what’s been repinned the most. This means that if you found and loved it on Pinterest, it’s likely that Walmart has put it in this easy place to search. Think sneaker wash & dry bag, toilet paper holder, and even a sassy retro bathing suit. I’ve even started a board on Pinterest to cover all my favorite finds from Spark Studio – a great want to collect beautiful ideas in the same space.
