With two January birthdays to celebrate, my mom came up with the idea of doing a Winter Wonderland to celebrate the boys’ birthdays this year. Post-Christmas clearance made this party simple to put together and extremely inexpensive.
Bead “Icicles”
Handcut Snowflakes hung from the ceiling with yarn
Milk Jug Igloo Entrance
Festive Pom Poms hung from ceiling
Snowman cupcakes (Wilton candies)
Polar Blast Punch (equal parts Sprite, Polar Blast Hawaiian Punch, and scoops of sherbert) & striped straws in mason jar with wrapped yarn
Gift table utilitzing fabric snowflakes, beads, a white tablecloth on hand, computer printed banner & Snowflake frame
Utensil holder made from Gerber container and yarn
Snowflake Garland
Hot Chocolate Bar (with clearance stirrers)
Pin the Carrot Nose on the Snowman
Snowball garland (grey winter background provided by mother nature)
Train table turned craft table with 25 cent Target wrapping paper. Stickers and paper on clearance!
Gift bags a la clearance
Chocolate covered Oreos (Wilton kit from Target – $1 clearance!)
The entire party decor and desserts were done for under $30. I also used the same decor for two birthday parties (friends & family) and so this was inexpensive and easy to do! I’m also excited to use these decorations for next Christmas as well!
