One of the first homework assignments Charlie had was to prepare his About Me poster. On the first day of school, I already witnessed the parental overachievers. With elaborate pictures and adult-drawn elephants and locations, parents had obviously taken over their three-year-old’s assignment. With a mixture of printed photos and drawings, I’m happy to say, Charlie did most of his About Me poster all buy himself! I wrote a few explanations and helped with cutting/gluing. Brother Jack even got in on the scribbling drawing. Charlie’s three and his work should be a reflection of that.
And yes, he said a doctor. No, I won’t hold my breath.
As for the bridge, that’s at his school. He wants to walk on it every.single.day.

Very impressive About Me page! If the whole doctor thing falls through, looks like he has a career as a designer/artist ahead of him š
Samantha says
haha! Thanks – he really did a great job. (I DID do the bridge, but he did everything else!)

YES!!! to Charlie doing it himself. I thought the exact thing when we saw last year’s on the walls (we didn’t get to do ours yet…thank you strike….) but it was insane how obvious the parents got into it. I was like ummm…no this is about “insert child’s name here” mommy or daddy not the child. It made me nervous of the weird competition stuff that already happens in preschool. I refuse to partake in it. So that should be awkward.
Samantha says
YES! It is so beyond ridiculous and drives me CRAZY! It’s not like you can go to college with them! (how are you coping with the strike? What are your thoughts?)
