As the summer starts to cool down (thankfully!) and the leaves start to turn, I usually like to begin turning my attention to Halloween and costuming. In 2011, we went as Charlie Brown & his crew. In 2010, Charlie led the freedom charge as William Wallace. In 2009, we went as Burger King, Dairy Queen & White Castle! (haha!) Apart from being incredibly clever, the main thing these costumes all had in common was that they were homemade! As much as I pride myself on being  creative, occasionally, there are possible costumes that I just don’t feel as confident in making.
Although we are still throwing around ideas for this year, one option in the past has included Jim as Luigi. When googling costume ideas for Luigi, this is one of the first links you come across is for costumes for 2012. We ordered the large size and were pleasantly greeted with the costume just a few days later! The size was almost a perfect fit, but it seemed a little short on the bottom. We figured that it was probably because of Jim’s longer torso. He refused all pictures in the costume, so perhaps you’ll never get to see him as Luigi in real life!
The quality of the costume was nice and the price point is definitely affordable – especially if you’re looking for a specific costume or look and don’t want to miss the details. (Luigi included a mustache and gloves as well!) With Halloween just a little over two months away, it’s never too early to start thinking about how you’ll look when you trick or treat! Head on over to see what they offer for this year’s costumes.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
