A few weeks ago, Serta unveiled one of their flagship iComfort stores in Lombard located in Yorktown Mall. Designed as a complete luxury experience, guests can test out the beds and check out all the information for each type on individual touch screens.
These beds, while pricey, combine memory foam with gel-memory foam to give you the feeling of sleeping on cotton. I didn’t lay down on one (simply because it didn’t seem right with all the company business men there), but I can assure you, they are heavenly.
After attending the grand opening & ribbon cutting, I had the opportunity to try out a Gel Memory Foam 2 in 1 Scrunch Pillow. The pillow is designed much like the beds they offer.
The scrunch pillow gives you the soft, comfort of a down pillow with the cradling support you need from memory foam. The pillow is made of clusters of premium memory foam and gel-infused memory foam to give you the perfectly balanced sleep experience.
-Ideal for back, side, and stomach sleepers (Hello, pregnant mommies!)
-The memory foam clusters softly conform to your head and neck to ensure spinal alignment (No more flat-forever pillows)
-Alleviates pressure points to relieve head and neck pain
-Reduces tossing and turning during the night
The Downside:
We only have one! (So sharing is NEVER fun, but I promise we have it equally!)
The price tag. At $79, it might be a bit for your pocketbook (and frankly, we balked a bit too!) BUT I have yet to find a pillow in 8 years of marriage that we actually use and like. When I calculated how many different pillows I’ve bought over the years, the total? $100. And I still wasn’t satisfied. Too flat, too soft, too blah and by the time the pillow is d-o-n-e? We are folding it in half just to have something to rest our heads on. So if you can find a great sale and pair that with a coupon, this is definitely a pillow I recommend. Perhaps even a birthday present! (And no, I’m not joking!)
If you don’t have a sale near you, then enter our giveaway for your very own iComfort Scrunch pillow below (you can even have your spouse enter also – but don’t call me when you’re fighting over it!)

Needs to be supportive yet not too firm and it is a huge PLUS if it doesn’t get too warm or I can easily flip it over to a cool side!
