One of my all-time favorite animal explorers would have to be the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. Following closely behind in his footsteps, Bindi Irwin. At only 14 years old, Bindi is already an international award-winning celebrity. Bindi was just three years old when she made her television debut in the Crocodile Hunter and now she continues her dad’s legacy with her brother Robert in Queensland, Australia.
Bindi has developed a new book series, geared specifically towards young readers! A unique blend of action, travel, and global conservation, the Bindi Wildlife Adventures series will charm and engage new readers as well as encourage budding young naturalists. Each book is a new adventure for Wildlife Warrior Bindi Irwin and a chance for children to experience new places and new ideas and to learn more about how to help animals all over the world.
Bindi’s Wildlife Adventure series is perfect for the young reader in your home. With exciting adventures, large, easy-to-read print, Bindi has captured the essence of adventure and has translated that into a fun-kid friendly series. One of my favorite parts of the book included a set of animal facts – giving you a few unique snippets about some of the animals she “meets!”
The series also corresponds to this activity guide, which includes thoughtful review and interactive questions for your child or even in a classroom setting. Quick-paced and encouraging independent reading, this series would make a perfect gift for Christmas or even as kids head back to school.
