Living in a condo doesn’t often lend itself to neighborly love. However, we are fortunate enough that my parents have some fabulous neighbors! Charlie’s friend, C, is just one month older than him and they have become fast friends. Later this summer, they’ll take a soccer class together and we try to plan playmates whenever we can.
Recently, we held a garage sale at my parents house for Jim’s marathon run and one of the most precious exchanges happened through C’s window. C yelled out, “Hey, Charlie!” and Charlie yelled back, “Hey, C! Wanna come out and play?!”
We spent the day with C (and his little bro and mommy) a few days ago and we had a blast! Rough and tumble boys, hugging that led to a head bump, popcorn, a movie, and homemade pizza, and just a short walk home for a nap makes for the perfect day!

I wish we had those kind of neighbors we too live in a condo 4 bedroom but need a house with 5 kids! And I can say most of our other neighbors rent so sometimes I’m afraid of getting to know people cause there gone in a little. Your soon looks like he is so HAPPY! 🙂

I always afraid to become friends with neighbors. I’m a friendly-hello-and-wave type a neighbor. lol. Of course, I’ve never had any neighbors that I thought I’d connect with in any way, wither, lol. 🙂 Great read!
