As the sole girl in our house, I am far outnumbered when it comes to choosing favorite movies. Our floors are covered in trucks, cars and the typical choice of movie to settle down with is Cars or Cars 2. But a while back, we watched Tangled for our family date night and my life hasn’t been the same. With blankies for long, flowing hair and re-enacting scenes from the movie, I am in love (much to Jim’s chagrin).
The players are pretty simple:
Charlie – Rapunzel
Mommy – Mother
Daddy – Eugene aka Flynn Ryder (also Daddy’s middle name!)
Jack – Max the Horse (go figure)
Momma – the chameleon
Today, Charlie picked this dandelion and came over to me to talk about this beautiful “golden flower” and proceeded to sing me a song from the movie about it. {To the right of this shot, his brother was running towards the forest…} These sweets moments of picking weeds have become quite a soft spot for me. Soon, he’ll run off and won’t play Tangled with me and while his daddy will be relieved, it will be bittersweet for me. For now?
“Charlie, you are not leaving this tower, EVER!”

Mother (does) knows best! At least 3 times a week over the course of the day, its Tangled (which Aria demands to be called Rapunzel). There is also a follow up short video called Tangled – The Next Chapter about them getting married. Aria calls this one Horsey Two and it is really cute.

Strike that- I watched it today. Its called Tangled Ever After.
(I got your message and totally get back to you soon I promise. I never would have thought three years ago that this mom thing was so go go go all the time.)
