Living Green{er} Faire

Last night, I had the great opportunity to connect with the Bump Club of Chicago through their Living Green{er} Faire hosted at Flor. An intimate event with delicious food and the latest and greatest in all things green, moms and moms-to-be heard from four highly credentialed panelists regarding personal care, household, toys and playroom, and food and how to infuse some green into your own life.

The panelists were well-spoken and offered helpful hints during a Q & A section. Even if you don’t plan on turning into a 100% crunchy mama, these women definitely offered practical ways make your home and family life more energy efficient and more green-friendly. 

With Envirosax swag bags that included adorable snack bags from Itzy Ritzy, chocolates from Vosges Chocolates, snack stacks from Innobaby  and Zo*li, an anti-bottle from Vapur, a full-sized baby bath product from Green Babies, and a pacifier by Ecopacifier as well as quite a few other amazing products, guests walked away with goodie bags worth over $75. Lindsay also put together some phenomenal giveaways including compost machines, Simplehuman trash cans, and a Bumbleride stroller among other green treats.

This was my first Bump event and certainly won’t be my last. Lindsay and her crew go above and beyond to create great events for Moms & Moms-to-Be and are good resource to moms both in and outside the city.
