If you often read to little ones, then I’m sure you have a book or five of famous author, Eric Carle. The bright colors and beautiful stories capture the hearts of children and adults alike. The Chicago Children’s Theatre in conjunction with the Mermaid Theater of Nova Scotia will be presenting a new production, “A Brown Bear, A Moon, and A Caterpillar: Treasured Stories by Eric Carle.”
The production will be based on three of Carle’s family favorites, “Brown Bear, Brown Bear,” “Papa, Can You Get the Moon for Me” and “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.” Performances run from May 2 through May 27th of this year at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater mainstage, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Chicago.Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 10:15 am; Friday at 10 am and Noon; Saturday at 10 am, Noon and 3 pm; and Sunday at 1 pm and 3 pm. Exceptions: Press opening is Friday, May 4 at 7 pm. (Thus, no Noon performance on May 4, and the morning matinee starts at 10:15 am.)
