One of my favorite ways to bless someone is to pay for the person behind you at a drive-thru. I decided to snag a cup of iced coffee before work and vowed to pay for the person behind me, regardless of price. Of course, of all the people to pull up, it was a man in a very nice looking car with a cell phone attached to his ear.
As I offered to pay for his order and they carefully added each of his five drinks up, I heard the faint sounds of chocolate milk and a bag of munchkins – certain that those would belong to little hands. But either way, it was an act I was doing, regardless of who was behind me.
As I passed him on my way out, he gave me a friendly wave. Random Acts of Kindness aren’t random if we simply eliminate blessing those just because we don’t think they *need* it. Lesson learned.
