I thought I’d start to document some of the crazy things Charlie does and says in a little post I like to call “Charlie-isms.”
*When asking him where Kaeli, David, and Jonathan are, he usually replies “I doh-no.”
*He frequently enjoys being chased around the house with the corn popper from Grandma Murphy. Yes, it’s only about 2 feet long and yes, our backs aches after chasing him.
*He enjoys emptying out the large water bottle filled with coins and “counting” the money. A future Scrooge McDuck perhaps? He knows what most of the various coins are, but his default is “penny!”
*He can walk all the way to our car by himself now. Unfortunately, he gets a little “lost” once we actually make it to our lot – he then tries to run away behind other cars! (Mommy does not particularly *love* chasing him at almost 34 weeks!)
*When practicing making paper turkeys and tracing his hand, he now slaps his hand on a piece of paper and shouts, “Turkey!” apparently ready for it to be traced.
*Pens & pencils are apparently cooler than Crayons & Markers. Unfortunately, mommy and daddy believe pens & pencils to be rather dangerous…
