Make a Messterpiece

Kaeli girl has recently requested that in lieu of gifts for her birthday or Christmas, I plan something spectacular. For Christmas, I took her downtown to Grand Lux Cafe & to the American Girl Store. For her birthday, I knew JUST where to go (and somewhere that I knew Charlie would enjoy also!) – Make a Messterpiece in Glenview. Having heard about it in Family Time Magazine (and seeing valuable coupons), I headed out there today with Kaeli, Jim, and Charlie in tow. Arriving just minutes before the scheduled opening time, we had the place to ourselves for about an hour and the time quickly flew by. With various stations to try and free art supplies available, we LOVED it! There was a small cafe section for parents, some climbing areas for kids, and a bunch of different Creation Stations. It was amazing and well worth the fee!
