We opted to spend time at one of my favorite places for breakfast AGAIN – Cracker Barrel! (YUM YUM YUM!)We then headed back up near Frankenmuth for a trip to Grandpa’s Tiny Farm. For just $5 per adult, we received a personalized tour, a horse-drawn carriage ride and a petting zoo. Charlie was able to meet many animals and particularly loved the chickens and roosters. We saw a pregnant cow, four horses (two of which were named Jim and Dan), 2 pigs, peacocks, ducks, pigeons, guineas, chickens, roosters, baby chicks, rabbits, baby bunnies, more baby chicks, goats, and another baby calf. Charlie loved the ride around the farm and squealed with excitement! He only tried to squeeze one of the animals and so “nice, nice” begins. It was another gorgeous day and the animals were amazing!!!

Squeezing…er..petting the bunny rabbit
We then headed back to the River Place in Frankenmuth for some shopping which was generally a BUST!! So we opted to head to the Outlet malls and our luck increased ten-fold. After an intense day of walking, bargaining, and sales, sales, sales, we were ALL ready for a good night’s sleep (Charlie, especially). Just a few of the things we snagged – some interesting sauces, dips (including one by Paula Deen), 2 shirts, 1 belt, and 1 pair of boxers for Jim from Banana Republic for $26 (!!!!!!), over 20 clothing pieces from Carter’s, a few great pieces from OshKosh, a few presents for Charlie’s first Christmas, and many other great things! We ended the day with a trip to Sonic (my mom’s first) and had amazing burgers and cherry limeades!

This blog post isn’t terribly long but we spent a LOT of time shopping til we dropped!!! One of my favorite days so far (and probably one of Charlie’s least favorite)!
