Father Fridays

For the first time, Jim took Charlie to a doctor’s appointment on his own – Charlie’s six month appointment.

Quick stats:

Weight: 19 lbs, 4 oz (75th percentile)
Head: (Between 50th and 75th percentile)
Height: Almost 28 inches (85th percentile)

She obviously thought the boy was NOT underfed. He made all of his developmental milestones and was even ahead on some, like sitting up! She also commented on how strong he was in going immediately from a sitting to a standing position, using her hands. I don’t know what I would do if he walked and never crawled!!! The doctor also saw/felt the beginnings of a tooth and predicted in the next month the first pearly white addition! (Yikes)

He received two shots and screamed all the way home. He napped a lot that night and slept VERY long during the night-time. Overall, his appointment went great and he’s doing well!!
