Conversation had on Memorial Day with Jonathan.
Mantha (thinking how cute it is that Jonathan pets Bear so sweetly): That’s nice.
Jonathan: Yes, it is nice outside. Can you watch him for a second?
Conversation with Kaeli regarding my refusal to immediately turn Charlie over once he rolls onto his belly.
Kaeli: Mantha, DO SOMETHING!
Mantha: Kaeli, he has to learn and strengthen his muscles. Just a little longer.
Kaeli (scooping up Charlie and quietly rocking him, while whispering in his ear): I’ve got you, Charlie, I’ve got you!
Is he spoiled or what??!?
I think Charlie’s ready for food. REAL food. On Sunday, Jim was holding him and Charlie was looking over his shoulder as I snagged a cupcake. As I put the dessert towards my mouth, he went NUTS, literally trying to JUMP out of Jim’s arms to grab the chocolate cupcake. His eyes grew wide and he was VERY excited. At least we know the boy likes chocolate.
Conversation with Jonathan about the prospect of a new baby sister (if that’s what the baby turns out to be).
Mantha: Jonathan, what will you do if it’s a girl?
Jonathan: I will call her Loserface…and punch her in the fa..I mean, on the butt.
And apparently, after a very *violent* game of spoons with Kaeli and David. All is well. He proceeded to give her advice on how to “work” for Momma when you sleep over. I would have LOVED to be a fly on the wall of that conversation.

Now I can see why Parker gets along with Jonathan so well..all they talk about is punching and butts.
