Four Months Old

Charlie,

My oh my! How the time flies when you’re having fun! It seems like only yesterday that you came into our lives, but as I said in my last post, we’ve now known about you for a year.

Firsts:

*You rolled over from back to belly! You started by hating to be on your tummy, but you’re slowly getting the hang of it. You will even lift your head and try and lift your body with your little arms!
*You also have started an adorable(!) screeching noise because you love the sound of your own voice.
*Bulls made and left the playoffs! (Some things rarely change)
*First time the Blackhawks have been in the playoffs for a LONG time
*Celebrated my FIRST Mother’s Day as a mommy
*First trip to Little Red Schoolhouse
*First Kentucky Derby
*Cinco de Mayo celebration
*Size 2 diapers! (You’re getting SO BIG)

Dislikes:

Finishing eating (screaming when we attempt to burp you, but you’re getting better)
Buzz Lightyear at Momma’s (You screech at him! I think it’s the big eyes)
Having your diaper changed before we feed you in the morning
Baths! You are still not much of a fan.
(Not much else! You are an AMAZING baby and don’t complain too often unless you want something specifically)

Your hair is slowly growing in lighter as you lose the darker pieces and you’ve held on to your blue eyes (although I’m not sure how much longer you’ll keep those). I could stare at your “finger” toes for eternity and I can hardly believe how fast you are growing!
